Musical
Chimeras –
a series of artwork from the collection Playing with Old
Masters. I used selected fragments of 16th-19th century
etchings and woodcuts, cut them up, recombine them on the computer,
colored, and created images that look like original etching.
My tongue in cheek name for this technique is "Graphica
In Silico". In 2007 I won an award of excellence for this
work and was published in Communication Arts Magazine's Illustration
